Goji was pacing in front of the cabin door waiting for Hydrangea to arrive, he’d been waiting all month for the dove’s long overdue arrival. Not that she was late, but he was impatient and had hoped she’d surprise him by coming over sooner. It was late afternoon and would be dark in only a few hours, he was beginning to worry a little.. Sure the dove was much taller than he was and could do fine in the deeper snow outside, but what about his present? What would come of it and Hydrangea if the weather became worse? No it wasn’t snowing outside, in fact it was a lovely and very clear day. Only it was a little cold, at least for Goji. He had more fur to body ratio than the dove did too though, he had a curly ruffle as well as a silken tail. Hydrangea had neither of those things, and simply wore an old blue coat with sunflowers on it. Goji was in a deep well of thoughts, thinking of the worst case scenario with no end in sight when suddenly there was a knock at the door. Snapping the
